Online sales up 40% over two years

Online success requires a company have focused analysis, considered strategy, and determination to stay the course. Air Greenland had the ambition and courage to go all the way.

Our objective was to generate additional sales through various online channels that were not yet being used. The first step was to understand Air Greenland's current situation and organization. The next step was to understand the opportunities in Greenland as a destination, and to assess the options for traveling to Greenland.

"Online success depends on many things, but it is certainly important that a business is willing to implement changes and stay focused on the project. Air Greenland was 100% dedicated to working with online from day one, which is the major reason why we have come so far. The goal was to build collaboration across sales, marketing and IT, and thus we had the knowledge necessary to develop a unified online strategy, action and implementation plan", says Reloop CEO Simon Goldschmidt.

Endless possibilities
The various online channels provide endless opportunities to optimize, organize, collect data, and generate sales. For Air Greenland, it soon became clear that the different channels were linked and created good synergies throughout the company. With Reloop as a sounding board, Air Greenland has developed a strong online department that has the necessary internal resources and skills to manage the various online activities. The result is that it is now easier for Air Greenland to define new goals and visions, and ambitions are aligned with the company's competences and resources.

More online in the future
Air Greenland's online ambitions have increased with their growth. E-Business Manager, Jesper Drejer, is very satisfied with the outcome and encouraged about the future:

When we can increase our online revenue by 40% in two years, we naturally see new possibilities for developing the business. The success has given us even greater ambitions, and we are now working to further develop the online collaboration to include our subsidiaries, including Greenland Travel, so we can optimize and secure best possible services for our online customers", says Jesper Drejer.
